With over 44 years of combined experience, owners Jack and John Court established the company in 1987.

​We operate at 100 East Royalty Road where we have:

  • Parts building
  • Stocking parts for forklifts
  • Pallet jacks
  • Strapping machines
  • Casters, and more!
Our second building houses our service department and bulk product storage.

Jack Court: Founder

Jack Court, a lifelong Islander, founded Island Handling Systems in 1987.

​Growing up in Charlottetown, he developed a strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit. Inspired by his family's history in business, Jack pursued his dream of owning his own company.
After gaining experience in sales and management, Jack and his wife Gwen established Island Handling Systems.

​Together, they built the company into a successful provider of material handling solutions. Even after Gwen's passing, Jack remained dedicated to the business, with the support of his family.
